Luna Looks to the Art Deco Stars

Luna Looks to the Art Deco Stars is a rather different painting from my usual approach.

The idea must without a doubt have come from my late husband Evan; he so admired the Art Deco Style, and was always trying to make me more adventurous on these lines. I hope he senses his accomplishments here, and I dearly hope he approves.

The Egyptian Lotus Image is immediately recognisable as the design on the Elevator doors of the Chrysler building in New York. I have opened the doors to reveal Luna, appearing in an aura of Art Deco Stars as she enters the world of the Ivory Cats!

Her claim to also bear an Egyptian influence is round her neck. She is wearing a double torque with a gemstone fixed at the terminals; faultlessly, and beautifully crafted by Nature, in fur.

This idea must have been sent to me spiritually by Evan. I hope he receives the image and is pleased.

I dedicate this painting to his patience and memory.
